Sep 29, 2009 - I have been a massage therapist for 10 years...FYI...I believe it is bad business practice to give your therapists less than 50% percent of what you charge the public...AND this is why...it takes a lot of physical energy to give massage...Therapists don't work 40/hrs. a week...so when the interviewer asks "how do you do that?", the interviewee neglects to say that their corporation gets 70% or more of what YOU pay for that massage...It is rumored their therapists get $14 to $18 per hour.
